dot-source to install PDF iFilter on an existing farm

Using the method described here:

I'm running:

Configure-PDFSearchAndIcon $xmlinput

But every time it tries going to the internet because it cannot find the MSI or ZIP - the MSI is there where it should be.

It seems like it doesn't know where to look, because $bits is not defined (it is defined in AutoSPInstallerMain - so won't have been called)

Any assistance gratefully accepted!

Sort of fixed it - I ran the following 2 commands first:

$bits = "D:\Software\SP2010\AutoSPInstaller\SP"
$spyear = 2010

then ran Configure-PDFSearchAndIcon $xmlinput - which worked.

Thanks - I found I had to do something similar recently too in order to run another isolated function (installing Office Web Apps 2010). Perhaps I'll make a change to incorporate those two variables within every function...
