Dec 8, 2011 at 9:25 AM

Hello,

The auto installer is a great script but I've just been having a few issues when doing multi server installs so hoping for some help. The latest include two partions of the index and multi crawlers etc. I've included the search setup below and must be missing somthing as its just not working I dont get any index partions setup after its run but also no errors?

Any help would be great, Thanks in advance

I believe Partitioned = "true" should be false, unless you are creating a partitioned Search Service Application. This partition is for "partition mode," which is used by hosters and Office 365. See http://download.microsoft.com/download/7/5/4/7546DDD5-C8B3-46F0-8087-8A7A37F739E6/Hosting_SharePointProducts2010.pdf

Since you've set Partitions = "2" you should end up with two index partitions. Not sure if that will fix it but it may help :)
