Reruning script results in error with MySite

Jul 8, 2011 at 4:17 PM

When I tried to rerun the script to install service applications, I run into the error below with MySite and the whole script aborts. I am using the new version 2.5. I have two other web apps that have already been installed by the script and the script verifies them that they "already exist" but only errors out on the MySite. I never ran into this issue with the previous version.

Script aborted!

This usually results from some sort of error in the XML input file - are you still seeing this?

Hi Brian,

I am also getthing this exact message for mysite when I try to run the install on another machine.  Normally, it should just bypass it.  Any recommendations.

Are your XML files different between servers? They no longer need to be as of several updates ago. If they are, compare them and see if you are trying to create different web apps / sites at the same URL possibly.
